ORDER INFORMATION

Products in stock

All products that are In stock will be delivered within 2-5 days in Hungary. In the case of International orders it is approx. 4-7 days (depends on the exact destination).

Orders placed on the weekend will be processed on Monday, unless a public holiday occurs.

We will notify you when your order is dispatched in a separate email with your tracking number.

Made to orders

All Made To Orders will be forwarded to the designer within 24 hours.

The process of making all Made To Orders is 2-3 weeks. They will be delivered within 2 days in Hungary. In the case of International orders it is approx. 2-7 days (depends on the exact destination).

Once your Made To Order item has been made we will notify you when it is dispatched in a separate email with your tracking number.

How to order

The products that appear in the Webshop may be ordered online or in email on zita@babushkajewelry.com. The prices of the products in HUF/EUR are inclusive of VAT but do not include the cost of shipment.

Customers may browse the Webshop at their leisure, without revealing their identity.

The Seller’s system sends an e-mail confirming all orders, however, the Seller reserves the right to partly or wholly refuse confirmed orders as the products sold in the Webshop are unique, handcrafted jewels and a temporary shortage may arise.

The Customer must provide the personal data required for fulfilling the order; the Customer also must provide the shipment and invoicing data and preferred payment method to complete the ordering process. To place a successful order, customer must accept ‘Terms and Conditions’, as well.

After filling the parts in the order form, the Customer gets an overview of the order and if she/he finds all information to be correct, she/he may actually post the order by clicking on the “Place Order” button.

SHIPPING RATES & PRICES

Standard shipping to Hungary with GLS: 1500 Ft / 4 Euro
Standard shipping to foreign country in Europe with GLS: 28 euro (edited)

Please make sure to provide your correct address details at the time of order. If a package is returned as “address unknown” or “failed to collect” or any similar reason, the product price and the delivery fees will not be reimbursed and we will charge any other following orders as newly submitted without any discount or reimbursement. You understand and agree that Babushka Jewelry shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages done by any of the services we provide. We do not assume any responsibility for lost packages.

We can only guarantee to keep dispatch deadlines, not delivery deadlines, nor shall we be liable for lost packages. After a package is mailed, all deliveries will be in accordance with the Rules of Magyar Posta Zrt. (Hungarian Postal Service) or the postal service of the country of destination (depend on the country of the shipping destination). Upon receipt of the package, it shall be your responsibility to open and check the contents of the package in the presence of the courier and to record any damage or other complaint in respect of the package. We will only accept any complaints if accompanied by an official postal record.

In the case of international shipments outside the EU, you shall be liable for all tax and customs payments. For further information on custom and excise policies in your country, please contact your local customs office.

PAYMENT & REFUND INFORMATION

Payment methods

All personal debit and credit card information transmitted is handled by secure connections. All personal contact information transmitted to us will not be shared, sold or solicited. Complete the order form true and complete to the best of your knowledge and belief.

Warranty

The Babushka brand provides 6 month of guarantee to all jewelries.

In case of faulty performance by the Seller, the Customer has a right to request repair or exchange, except where the Customer’s choice of repair or exchange is impossible to perform or where it would cause disproportionately high costs to the Seller as compared with the other option.

In all the above mentioned or any return case, the Customer agree that the charges of sending back the jewelry for repair and its postage and handling costs is the responsibility of the Customer to deal with.

The Customer shall notify the Seller of the fault immediately within no delay.

A jewel is considered as faulty if it does not meet the quality requirements in effect at the time of sale or if it does not possess the characteristics provided by the Seller in the product description.

Considering the materials used for making the jewels, the following shall not constitute a faulty product: darkening arising from the natural oxidisation of metals, dirt on surfaces, deterioration arising from inappropriate use or storage. In the case of faults arising from inappropriate use or damage caused by the Customer, the Seller has no obligation to either replace the product or reimburse its price. The Seller shall have no warranty obligations for faults arising from natural wear and tear, negligent treatment, overuse, inappropriate penetration or any other improper use of the jewel.

REFUND INFORMATION

We would like that our jewelries will make eternal pieces in your accessory collection.

However, if any refund issue appears, we will not accept any returned merchandise without prior written communication and agreement.

Returned merchandise must include original packaging and be in the same condition as when it was received.

Worn jewelry cannot be returned.

We reserve the right to deny a refund.

Shipping charges cannot be refunded.

Please be aware we do not offer refunds for ‘Change of Mind’ purchases on all of our products.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Seller designs, manufactures and sells unique jewellery and accessories. The Seller indicates the name and description of the products in the Webshop and provides a photo/photos of each product. The Seller endeavours to provide photos that match the appearance of the products as much as possible, however, these are for illustration purposes only as there may be small differences in colour, proportions or patterns since each item is handmade. The Seller is not liable for any differences between the images that appear in the Webshop and the actual appearance of the product. Customers can specially commission unique jewellery that is not in stock.

When you purchase product/s through our website, we collect your name and shipping address, as well as phone number and email address. All of these pieces of information (order fulfillment information) are necessary to ship your order. We do not share any of your contact information with any other third party vendors. We retain your shipping details and order history to enable us to provide you with future customer services like returns and replacements. If you create a www.babushkajewelry.com account, we store your account password, which you can reset or change at any time. Your password is only accessible by you and never by www.babushkajewelry.com employees or third parties.

Jewelry Storage & Cleaning

STORAGE & CLEANING:

Store your Babushka jewelry separate from other jewelry to prevent scratches and protect gold/rhodium or sintered-plating.

Clean with a soft cotton cloth or a special jewelry cleaning cloth. Do not use polishing with gold plated jewelry.

Please follow the recommended care instructions to extend the life of your jewellery.

Among general use to protect your jewelry the following indications are advised:

Remove jewelry when swimming, showering, exercising, performing sports activities and cleaning (using detergents, etc).

Avoid rough wear and always put on as the ‘finishing touch’; after make-up, perfume, hairspray and washing of hands as these can cause damage to the jewelry’s surfaces.

Keep away from direct sunlight and heat.

Wipe down with a soft polishing cloth when needed and always store in an appropriate jewelry pouch or box in a cool, dry place.
